Rice Creek Hunts

League Information

Leagues begin March 30th. League sign-up is required by the first weekend in May. There are two competitive leagues; the Low Brass League and the High Brass League. There are two or four person teams for both. Prizes include gift certificates for hunting at Rice Creek.

LOW BRASS: Shoot the two courses that are a little bit easier. You can also enjoy a handicapped system that keeps shooters on a more level shooting field. Teams are divided into classes based on averages after the second round. Bonus hunting if you win your division.

HIGH BRASS: Shooters will be able to re-shoot scores for league, keeping the second score, higher or lower. Shooters can practice in-between to sharpen up for their final score. Shooters will shoot all three courses for each round for more variety. Shooters will see the most challenging course, the medium course and the easiest course. Bonus hunting for the winners of 5 person and 2 person teams.

FAMILY LEAGUE: Shooters can enjoy a reduced cost in their shooting - if they shoot as a family or join a family league. This is a 200 or more target league; shooters can shoot their rounds on A or B course and shoot as many shells as they like. There is no entry fee. We will keep track of all the targets you and your teammates can hit for your team. There will be a prize for the team that can hit the most targets and a prize that will be drawn for from the other teams that shoot at a minimum of 200 targets. The prizes will be a family hay ride, bonfire party and use of the clubhouse this fall for a party that will be hosted by you and Rice Creek for up to 35 people.
